COZY’s CURRENTS

COZY’s CURRENTS

Cozy, the leaf, drifted down the stream,
Unaware of rapids that would make her scream.
Finding beauty in every twist and bend,
Ever agile, ready to extend.

Bathed in the morning’s golden light,
She met each challenge with delight.
Though cliffs rose stark before her eyes,
She faced each drop with brave surprise.

From the cliff’s steep edge, into the air,
She danced on breezes without a care.
But as the water dimmed her spark,
She fought to keep her heart from dark.

Sinking into the depths, she sought a pause,
Learning quickly that nature has its laws.
Life isn’t merely a gentle drift,
Even a leaf must face the rift.

Broken she was, but still afloat,
Carried gently by the stream’s soft coat.
In her quiet resilience, she found grace,
Amidst the currents of life’s embrace.

Serenity touched her leafy soul,
As the river’s wisdom played its role.
From broken edges to heart made whole,
In the water’s cradle, she found her goal.

The stream smoothed out her battered leaf,
Teaching Cozy to release her grief.
In gentle flows, she felt relief,
And in her solitude, she found belief.
